Rules

1. Draw any of my original characters (You can find them under the subpaste "Originals" of my Gallery --> [link]). Any kind of photo or image manipulation will not be accepted, you have to have drawn the whole pic (exceptions for backgrounds, please read Judging Criteria number 4).
2. Please, no gender bender (change character's gender), but other than that go wild!
3. You must have a DA account to participate (read "Submission Info" for more details).

Submission Info

1. Submit your entry to DeviantART. In the Artist's Comments you MUST link to any of my pics that feature the character you've chosen and CREDIT the character design to me.
2. Post HERE the link to your entry. Notes and comments on other sections will be IGNORED.
3. DEADLINE - To be fixed (When I reach 100000 pageviews).

Considering the average amount of pageviews I receive per day nowadays, I would say you have like almost an year to think about this XD, so do your best!

4. NUMBER OF ENTRIES PER PERSON: Each person can submit 3 entries.

Prize

You may request an illustration of ANYTHING . No rules! It's like getting a free comission!

Judging criteria

1. Technique (includes choice of colors, lineart, etc) - 20%
2. Originality (How the artist used the character to create a whole new composition, no matter his/her art skills) - 50%
3. Proximity with the original (If the artist managed to catch the character's essence. By that I mean not only looks, but expressions and personality) - 30%
4. Elements that will decrease your total points: Eyeballing/Tracing heavily evident (It affects the 3rd criteria), use of improper paper (lined paper, dirty, etc). Usage of photos and images made by others as background will affect the first criteria. Works that use other's work as background without proper credit will be disclassified


While number 1 and 3 counts a lot, originality will be the main criteria on choosing.

He doesn't draw like me, mind you... actually, our styles are VERY different. He has autism and he loves to draw. We decided to open an account for him because we want him to learn how to use internet to publish his artwork, even though he has great difficulty to understand the rules and the social meaning of internet.
