Just me trying to draw Akito Souma at school. I've changed the watermark (now you can see Yuki Asakura-kun holding the copyright ^^;)I use to identify the pics I've drawn.

Edit (May 22th 2005): Okay... I've just finished watching the anime... and I've just added Akito to my favourite characters on my Furuba's list (the others are Yuki, Kyo and the Mabudachi trio). I used to hate him... but after watching the last episode... I think I understand more or less his attitude... as Tohru said, "It must be painful... Akito-san... to be surrounded by death since you were born." From all the Soumas, he must be the one that bears the worst part of the curse.

Edit (July 11th 2008): (DO NOT READ THIS ONE IF YOU HAVEN'T READ FURUBA VOL. 17) This pic is concerning the ANIME Fruits Basket, and not the MANGÁ Fruits Basket. Therefore, I shall continue to refere to Akito as a male instead of female. Do not comment here telling me Akito is a girl, I already know that, and respect those who do not want to know that spoiler yet.

Really nice sketch!!! Akito's one of my favorite characters of any anime ever! And I liked her even more once I read the manga. :P Lol, anyway, great job here!

I really love this sketch you did of Akito. Been psycho-analyzing his personality for years, also been roleplaying him for 7 years too. ^_^;;; I think you captured the anime version very well. Great job!

I don't like it when people complain which gender version is better. I personally like anime Akito. I draw him all the time. The only time I draw female Akito is when I make male Akito and female Akito battle it out. Or even more hilarious ideas like... pair them up XD. I also like it even more if people who don't like male Akito and see fanart of it should really click the back button instead of post a comment. Fanart should be treated as a work of art and it only should be up to the artist. I forget to post up warnings on my fanarts because I'm lazy like that XD. But when I do put up a male Akito fanart, I do type in the author comment that it's male Akito. Unfortunately I get trolled T_T.

Anyways.... I like this picture because I really like how you execute the shadings. :clap:
