Artist's Comments

This is a commemorative drawing I did of Akito, to commemorate the 100th aniversary of Japanese imigration to Brazil (I live in Brazil, by the way). Whenever someone asks me "what do you think represents Japan?" I always think of sakura flowers... and Akito XD. I also think about other things after, but that's what comes first in my mind.

I tried a simplified CG technique instead of my usual watercolor one.

Edit: Note that this pic is NOT a spoiler for Fruits Basket in any way (unlike some of my other Furuba fanarts), so I would like to warn you that not everyone knows about Akito's secret (a.k.a. biggest spoiler in FB), so try to not spread the "news" while commenting my work ^^.

ficou muito bom ^^ celebração dos 100 anos em grande estilo com esse desenho
gostei da técnica de pintura também, apesar de achar meio difícil de dizer qual eu gosto mais XD

Eu gosto das duas... a aquarela é legal, mas deixa o desenho meio rebuscado demais.... quando o que a gente quer é simplicidade de vez em quando >_<.

*gasp* Akito is my FAVORITE character! Even though he's totally evil and insane and mean to everyone... But he still ROCKS! And volume 19 comes out in America this month. :heart:
