Recently some people have been asking if I have Patreon. I don't have Patreon and currently don't have the intention of creating a Patreon for myself. While Patreon surely helps lots of people its "formula" doesn't attract me at all right now. IF YOU FIND ANYONE USING MY WORK OR MY NAME IN ANY KICKSTARTER OR PATREON IT'S FAKE, DON'T GIVE THEM ANY MONEY.
Make sure to always check the list of websites above when in doubt.
If you do want to support me financially via internet there are several options:
Free option: check my videos in YouTube (please turn-off your Adblock there or it won't work). Most of my videos on my channel are in Portuguese but have captions in English, and they are monetized. By watching them you contribute with my Adsense. It's not much, but if you would like to check some of my speedpaints and contribute a little without spending your own money that's a nice option . I try to upload something new whenever it's possible. Unfortunately because of the changes in Livestream that messed up my account I'm not doing livestream sections anymore. www.youtube.com/eikomakimachi
Commissions: I'm always happy when people commission with me, because I get that feeling that someone out there really likes what I do and I have the opportunity to draw something specially for them. For commissions info check the link above.
DevianTART Print Store: I have some prints and other goods with my original work available on DeviantART's Prints shop. shop.deviantart.com/?q=by:eiko…
Society6 Store: I also have other prints and goods on my Society6 store. Because I have more freedom of customization in Society6 there are items here that cannot be found on my DA Print Store society6.com/teapotsandhats
IF I ever decide to make a Kickstarter, Patreon or something similar I'll let you know
For those who follow me on DeviantART for quite a while, I am sad to inform this, but I am quitting my position of moderating Anime-Can-Be-ART-To. While I love the group and would want to continue help spreading the word about how anime can be art as well, I decided to go back to school to study anatomy and Japanese and I also got two jobs now, one as a part-time architect and one as a freelance illustrator, because I lost my previous job and I'm struggling to find my way, professionally speaking.
I'm resigning mostly because I feel like all this change in my personal life may be affecting how I'm dealing with the moderation, I feel really tired and stressed and without much patience to check all my DA messages daily, ending up with me procrastinating or not feeling like writing proper feedback to members. I am really sorry for abandoning the boat, but I would rather quit and warn you beforehand than end up venting up my personal frustrations on others and just quit without any warning and cause any problem to the group. Hope you can understand.
I'll keep moderating until April comes, and meanwhile I would like to know if anyone has interest in taking my position as moderator on that group, if anyone is interested please send me a note
This Etsy store, CRCRAP, seems to be selling unauthorized prints of many artists from DeviantART.
Scarlett-Aimpyh (formerly known as Maevachan) posted a journal about this store selling one of her old watercolors without permission, so don’t buy from this store, don’t support this art thief.
